2012 Shop Steward Training and Health & Safety Workshops (Winter/Spring )

The UFCW Training Centre is pleased to offer the following workshops. If you are a Local 832 shop steward interested in any of these workshops, please speak with your union representative. You must speak to your representative. We will not accept registrations at the Training Centre. Shop stewards who have not attended workshops in the past will receive priority for the upcoming courses. If you don’t know who your union rep is you can check here.

The Shop Steward Diploma Series

There are two levels and fourteen workshops in total. Level 1 and 2 Diploma Series consists of seven workshops for each level. Preferably, Level 1 should be completed before going on to Level 2. It is particularly important that a shop steward takes at least the first two workshops from the Level 1 Series before going on to other workshops.
