UFCW Training Centre Privacy Policy
Note: In order to comply with new Federal privacy laws, this form must be signed by anyone taking courses or using services at the UFCW Training Centre.
The UFCW Training Centre has developed policies and procedures to safeguard your privacy and protect your personal information.
We collect personal information about you for our files. We collect this information when you fill out forms, in interviews and over the telephone. This information is kept in our secure electronic and paper filing systems. We use this information for: reports, statistics, enrollment, communication, awards, program development, employment services, recruitment, advertising, program monitoring and accountability, or other Training Centre operational functions.
Where required, we will share your information with third parties. For example, some adult high school information is shared with the Province and Winnipeg Technical College. Some career transition information is shared with the Province. Some scholarship information is shared with post-secondary institutions. Your personal information will not be sold to third parties.
Personal Information Consent
I hereby authorize the UFCW Training Centre to collect personal information about me.
By proceeding to the scholarship application form I consent to the use of my personal information by the UFCW Training Centre to:
- Verify my UFCW Local 832 membership
- Communicate with me about the UFCW Training Centre (for example: course registrations, scholarship applications etc.)
- Share with third parties
I agree that my personal information can be used for these purposes now, and in the future.
I understand I can withdraw my consent in writing at any time. However, I also understand that this will mean that I will no longer be able to attend courses or access services at the UFCW Training Centre.
