Keyboarding

Level 1
This course will help you to get to know your keyboard. We use a computer program called Mavis Beacon that will help you increase your speed and accuracy. Both Mavis and our real-life instructor will bring you right up to speed.

Level 2
A continuation of Level 1. This 10 week course is offered in partnership with Winnipeg Technical College (WTC) .  Students who successfully complete this course will receive recognition of their learning in relevant Winnipeg Technical College programs or a relevant high school credit.

To register, you must have a minimum speed of 14 wpm or have successfully completed the Training Centre’s Level 1 keyboarding course. Students will be tested and must successfully complete the ten week course in order to receive credit.
