Internet Safety & Technology Tips for Parents

Do you often feel overwhelmed trying to keep up with the “latest and greatest” on the internet (such as Facebook and Twitter)?

Have you wondered about the safety of personal information on social networking sites? And what those short text messages mean – such as LOL (Laugh Out Loud) or POS (Parent Over Shoulder)?

What’s the difference between a blog and a wiki?
When I look at a computer ad, what should I look for to purchase a computer that is right for me?

Does it matter, as a parent, where I put the computer in my home? This session will explore several general topics to help answer these questions and many more.  The content topics of additional sessions will be based on audience interests and feedback.

No courses are being offered at this time.
