UFCW Local 832 Security Sector

Our goal is to develop a better understanding between those working on the front lines in security with the communities that you protect.

How are we
going to do this?

  1. Identify and prioritize training and learning interests of guards
  2. Build new ways to connect, organize and advocate
  3. Organize for action on wages and working conditions
  4. Engage security guards with other community groups on public safety, justice, homelessness, poverty, mental health and addictions
  5. Create a platform where security guards can discuss challenges and successes with each other

Meetings start at 10 am and 5 pm, each meeting runs for two hours.
You only have to attend one meeting.

Meetings are held at the UFCW Training Centre located at 880 Portage Avenue
