Dauphin Co-op Negotiations Breakdown

June 4, 2019

After seven days of talks on several issues regarding wages, scheduling and important contract language, negotiations between the parties has hit standstill.

Union negotiator Sonia Taylor said, “It is apparent that the Co-op is not serious about reaching a new collective agreement. They are sending a clear message that they are not prepared to offer a fair deal.”

As such, negotiator Taylor has scheduled meetings for July 7 to get together with the members of the Dauphin Co-op to review and vote on the Co-op’s last offer, as well as obtain further input from the members.

UFCW Local 832 represents approximately 163 employees working at the Dauphin Co-op.
