New 2-Year Deal at Epic de St. Malo (Day Program)

The bargaining committees for Epic de St. Malo (Day Program) reached a tentative deal on a new two-year agreement. UFCW has scheduled a ratification vote for the members working at Epic for Monday, March 27, at 4:00 p.m.

Deal Reached on New Agreement for Members at Shopper’s Drug Mart

Tentative Deal Reached at B & L Homes for Children

The negotiating parties for B & L Homes for Children met with a Labour Board Officer on March 1 in an effort to reach a settlement on the outstanding items.

New Deal at Unicity

On February 25 our members at Unicity Taxi in Winnipeg voted unanimously in favour of a new three-year collective agreement.

The members will receive yearly two per cent wage increases with retroactive pay, an increase of floating holidays, dental contributions and drugs/optical benefits. To top it all off they'll receive an annual Christmas bonus.

Union Files Unfair Labour Practice Against Instabox

The union has been attempting to schedule a tour of Instabox so that the union negotiator gets a better understanding of the jobs the jobs the members perform. Aryzta Bargaining Begins

Negotiations Brewing at BDL

February 14, 2017

Union negotiator Blake Crothers has set a proposals meeting for March 5 for members working at Brewers Distributor Ltd (BDL). The current collective agreement expires in May and the bargaining committees will begin negotiations prior to the expiration date in an effort to reach a new collective agreement.

Union Starting to Prep for Bargaining at Old Dutch

The existing collective bargaining agreement for the union members at Old Dutch expires on April 30. The Local has already begun to prepare for negotiations to obtain another contract.  Part of the preparation process is to obtain ideas from the members as to what improvements should be negotiated into the new collective agreement.
