Conciliation Officer Appointed for Agropur Negotiations

July 27, 2017

The negotiating committees for Agropur will resume talks on September 19 and 22 with the assistance of a conciliation officer.

Union negotiator Sonia Taylor said, “We are hopefully that an agreement will be reached.” She will keep the membership updated as negotiations progress.

Winnserv Negotiations to Continue in September

The negotiating committees for Winnserv will continue bargaining towards the renewal of the collective agreement on September 1 and 8. By that time, the union should have a clear idea in terms of the potential impact of the Public Services Sustainability Act (Bill 28) in regards to these negotiations, specifically the ability to address all monetary items currently on the table.

Gate Gourmet Bargaining to Begin August 9

Agreement reached at Epic Opportunities

Union negotiator Sonia Taylor is pleased to announce that a tentative agreement has been reached with the employer on the renewal of a new collective agreement for the members working at Epic Opportunities.

The parties are presently finalizing the tentative settlement and once that is done the union will arrange for a ratification vote.

Winnserv Negotiations On-going

Bargaining Continues Next Month for Reh-Fit Members

The negotiating committees for the Reh-Fit Centre met in May and June. During these bargaining sessions, the parties were able to address the majority of the proposals, including the monetary items. Epic Opportunities Negotiations Challenging
