Federated Co-op Ratifies New Agreement

September 25, 2006 On September 22, members of UFCW Local 832 employed at the Federated Co-op warehouse in Winnipeg ratified a new five-year collective agreement by 86 per cent. Over the life of this agreement, employees will see wages increases from about $1.60 to $1.80 per hour. Maintenance workers will see a 75-cent an hour increase effective immediately. Tentative Agreement Reached at Federated Co-op Warehouse

September 13, 2006 The union has reached a tentative agreement for the 130 members working at Federated Co-op Warehouse in Winnipeg. A meeting is scheduled for Friday, September 22 at 6pm at the training centre. Nominations will also take place for shop stewards with voting to take place in November.
