Lucerne Bread Plant members ratify new agreement
Members receive wage increases, improvements to health and welfare benefits and other language improvements
The members at Lucerne Bread Plant voted 92 per cent in favour of a three year deal on Sunday July 25. The members had taken a strike vote on June 20 to kick start the process.
The members will receive a lump sum payment this year along with 25 cents in the second and third year across the board.
The members were also successful to negotiate a 40 cent an hour increase into their pension plan.
