Tentative deal reached at Lucerne Bread Plant
Members to hear details on new deal at ratification vote
The UFCW Local 832 members working at the Lucerne Bread plant in Winnipeg will have a chance to hear the details of a new deal that was reached on July 14 in the next couple of weeks. Documents need to be finalized prior to a ratification vote but the union will be sending out a notice and posting it on our website once a date is finalized.
The members at Lucerne Bread took a strike vote on June 20 and voted 90 per cent in favour of strike action.
Negotiations continued this week and a tentative deal was finally reached.
