General Mills negotiations update
Some progress made on monetary issues, more dates set.
Negotiations for a new collective agreement with General Mills continued on January 28 & 29, 2010. During this time, progress was made against the monetary items. Key issues remaining to be addressed include pension, wages, benefits and banked time which are all critical to both parties and as such will be more difficult and require more time to resolve.
The parties will be meeting again February 22 to 26, 2010. We will keep you up to date of further progress and any important membership meetings following these bargaining dates.
