We offer a variety of English as a Second Language (ESL) classes at our Training Centres in Winnipeg and Brandon.

Course Info

Without English, it is hard to communicate outside of the home, at work or to learn about Canadian culture and to become involved in the community.

Classes are open to anyone, but priority is given to UFCW members. If you are located in Brandon, we offer preparation for the Canadian Citizenship Test and free childcare during specified classes.

Fees & Registration

Fees

Free for UFCW Local 832 members and their families, and refugee claimants.

$30/semester for permanent residents (copy of PR Card required) and UFCW Local 832 retirees.

$60/semester for everyone else.

To request more information and a registration form, please email.

Your email must include:

  • Full name
  • Phone number
  • Whether you’re a UFCW 832 member or not
  • If member, place of work
  • In the email please mention that it is the ESL Winnipeg Program you are interested in.
  • When we have a completed registration form from you and a copy of your photo ID, you will be added to the waitlist.
  • When a spot becomes available, you will be contacted in the same order we received your email, with priority given to Local 832 members.

Ofrecemos clases de ingles en nuestro centro de entrenamiento en Winnipeg y Brandon.

Las clases estas abiertas para todos, pero miembros de UFCW tienen prioridad.

Precio

  • Gratis para los miembros de UFCW y sus familiares, y solicitantes de refugio.

У наших навчальних центрах у Вінніпезі та Брендоні ми пропонуємо курси англійської як другої мови.

Курси доступні для всіх, але члени Об’єднаної міжнародної спілки працівників харчової промисловості та торгівлі (UFCW) мають переважне право на зарахування на курси.

费用

  • 免费是面向UFCW 会员及其家人以及难民。
  • $30/每学期是面向永久居民(需要提供枫叶卡复印件)以及UFCW 退休人员。
  • $60/每学期是面向其他人。
