Kim Ferris

Kim was a member of UFCW Local 832 at Integrated Messaging, Incorporated.  Kim was active as a Shop Steward in her workplace since 1999, and she has also served as Co-Chair for her workplace Health and Safety Committee, and sat on the negotiations committee.  In 2003, Kim began serving as a Special Projects Union Representative working on the Wal Mart Campaign, and has been actively working on organizing campaigns since. She has also served as a Relief Rep in various territories over the years. In early 2007, Kim was also appointed as Chair of the Human Rights
Committee for the Manitoba Federation of Labour.

In the summer of 2007, Kim was hired at the local full time as a Resource Centre Representative and immediately went in to doing Relief Rep work assisting members in the retail sector. In 2008, Kim was hired as a full-time Union Representative.
