Brenda Brown was a UFCW member working at Midwest Food Products in Carberry for 20 years. That workplace was part of the former Local 798, which merged with UFCW Local 832 in early 2003.

For 12 of the 20 years Brenda worked at Midwest, she was a shop steward. She also served on the plant’s health and safety committee, and for a short time was co-chair of the Local 798 executive board.

Brenda works out of the UFCW office in Brandon. She is currently assigned to assist members who work at Maple Leaf Foods.
