Kathy Brnjas has been a member of Local 832 for 25 years working as a part-time cashier at Extra Foods 9006 (Westfair). She has been a steward and health and safety committee member since 1993. She serves on the UFCW Local 832 Training Centre Advisory Committee. She has served on the union negotiating committee for contract renewal. |

Glenn Creasy Glenn joined the Local 832 Executive Board during the merger with Local 798 in 2003, having served on the Local 798 executive since 1991. He continues to serve as the chief steward at McCain Foods in Carberry, a position he also held in Local 798. He has served on the Audit Committee of Local 832. He has been on the union negotiating committee for many sets of bargaining. He has worked as an Industrial Mechanic in the Carberry plant since 1973. |

Dean Rodwell has been a member of UFCW since 2001 at Maple Leaf in Brandon. Dean works in the maintenance department at the plant and holds his plumbers and commercial (A) gas licence. He’s been a member of the negotiating committee for the last two collective agreements and has been the chief steward since 2003. Dean also facilitates courses for the union’s training centre in Brandon since 2005, and has been a relief rep for the local. He was elected to the executive board in 2009. |

Dianne Gibson-Pierce has been with Westfair Foods since 1987. During her employ, she has served as shop steward and is an active member of the health and safety committee at her current store 1506. Dianne is very involved in the union and has attended several training courses during her capacity of steward and health and committee member. Dianne was appointed to the executive board April 2007. |

Sally Huculak has been an active UFCW member as an employee of the Thompson General Hospital for 23 years. She has been a shop steward for fifteen years, has sat on the negotiating committee for several rounds of negotiations, has sat on the Health and Safety Committee and was an Advisory Board member for two terms. Sally worked has a picket captain during a strike at the Thompson Hospital, and along with many other members at the hospital was instrumental in leading the fight against the Filmon Government for a successful collective agreement following a long lock-out at the Thompson Hospital. |

Kay Isokauppila has worked at Safeway since 1992, currently as a customer service clerk and cashier at store #720. She has been a steward since 1997, and has served as co-chair of the Local 832 Youth Committee. She is also a member of the Local Women’s Committee. |

Debbie Jones has been on the Local 832 executive board since 1997. She has been a security officer at Initial Security for over 10 years, a steward for nine of those years and chief steward for five of them. She worked with the union and training centre developing the training for security guards which has just been legislated in Manitoba. She is on Local 832′s women’s committee and social committee and represents the local on the Manitoba Federation of Labour Women’s Committee. She has worked as a temporary union rep. |

Francois (Frank) Kirouac is a longtime UFCW Local 832 member who works at the Maple Leaf Lagimodiere plant in Winnipeg. He has been a shop steward for six years, three of which as chief steward, and was involved on the health and safety committee. Frank was also active on the negotiating committee, which saw two sets of negotiations for the plant in the last three and a half years. |

Kathie Kraychuk has been on the Local 832 executive board for three years. She has worked at Extra Foods for 19 years and has been a steward for 18 of those years. She has served as a UFCW 832 delegate on the Winnipeg Labour Council, on the union negotiating team in 2004, on the Provincial Joint Labour Management Committee for Westfair Foods, as a facilitator at the training centre for five years and as a facilitator at the Local 832 Youth Conference in 2005. She is and has been chairperson of the West Kildonan Collegiate Parent Council for four years. |

Jeremy Miller joined UFCW Local 832 on November 1, 2010 when his UFCW Local 227W merged with local 832. Jeremy was the president of 227w, a small local made up of the 22 Malteurop plant employees. |

Marisa Pasquarelli joined UFCW Local 832 on June 20, 1998 working at Grace Hospital in Diagnostic Services. Marisa joined the executive board in 2011. |

Morag Stewart has been on on the Local 832 executive board since 1999. She has been a steward (chief steward at Superstore 1515 now) for 26 of the 28 years she has worked for Westfair in Brandon. Some of the Local 832 committees she has served on are social committee, women’s committee, health and safety, and negotiating committee. Morag also has worked as an organizer (SPUR), as a facilitator and co-facilitator with the UFCW Training Centre, and as a relief union representative. |

Jesus “Jessie” Zavala has been on on the Local 832 executive board since 2008. He is a member at Maple Leaf Fresh Foods in Brandon. Jessie was one of the first “new Canadians” that came from Mexico to work at Maple Leaf. Jessie has become very active in the local as a shop steward and was elected to the executive board in February 2008. |
