First Aid Training

We offer Emergency First Aid and Standard First Aid through St. John Ambulance at a subsidized price for our members and their families.

Course Info

Are you interested in taking First Aid?

Courses are offered seven days a week through St. John Ambulance in both Brandon and Winnipeg. Spaces are available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Available Courses:

  • Emergency First Aid with CPR Level C and AED
  • Standard First Aid with CPR Level C and AED

Fees & Registration

FEES

Fees are paid in cash at the Training Centre.

Rates for Education Fund Members

If your employer contributes to the Education and Training Trust Fund (ETTF) then you’re eligible for the following rates:

  • Emergency First Aid for $45
  • Standard First Aid for $75

Rates for Other Union Members

As long as you’re a UFCW Local 832 member, you’re eligible for the following reduced rates:

  • Emergency First Aid = $65
  • Standard First Aid = $105

Rates for Family of Union Members

  • Emergency First Aid = $95
  • Standard First Aid = $135
